Sized Library autumn 2013a

Our brand new library! Opened in January this year.

I’m getting ready for our first Summer Writers’ Roundup this weekend at the Billings Public Library (it’s brand new! can you believe I live in a town that just built a brand new public library? How cool is that?) in Billings, Montana. We’ve got authors signing books and several panel discussions happening. Here’s a run down on the activities:

10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon HOW TO BEGIN WRITING. Why did you begin writing? How do you balance work, family life and writing? Dealing with writer’s block, etc… Q&A.

12:00 noon – 12:45 p.m. Break for lunch (bring your own food and beverage). Book sales continue.

12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. SELF-PUBLISHING vs. TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING. What are your experiences of being published? Pros and cons of self-publishing vs. traditional publishing, etc… Q&A.
